1. Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews:
2. And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,
Luc 4.16And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. ;
Fapt 9.20And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God. ;
Fapt 13.5-14And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister. ;
Fapt 14.1And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed. ;

3. Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.
Luc 24.26-46Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? ;
Fapt 18.28For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ. ;

4. And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few.

5. But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people.
6. And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;
Rom 16.21Timotheus my workfellow, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my kinsmen, salute you. ;
Fapt 16.20And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city, ;
7. Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, one Jesus.
Luc 23.2And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King. ;
Ioan 19.12And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar. ;
1Pet 2.13Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; ;
8. And they troubled the people and the rulers of the city, when they heard these things.
9. And when they had taken security of Jason, and of the other, they let them go.
10. And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
Fapt 9.25Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket. ;
Fapt 17.14And then immediately the brethren sent away Paul to go as it were to the sea: but Silas and Timotheus abode there still. ;
