1. Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
1Cor 14.1-37Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. ;
2. Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
1Cor 6.11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. ;
Efes 2.11-12Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; ;
1Tes 1.9For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; ;
Tit 3.3For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. ;
1Pet 4.3For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: ;
Ps 115.5They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: ;
3. Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
1Ioan 4.2-3Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: ;
Mat 16.17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. ;
Ioan 15.26But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: ;
2Cor 3.5Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; ;
4. Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
Rom 12.4For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: ;
Evr 2.4God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? ;
1Pet 4.10As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. ;
Efes 4.4There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; ;
5. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
Rom 12.6-8Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; ;
Efes 4.11And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; ;
6. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
Efes 1.23Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. ;
7. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
Rom 12.6-8Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; ;
1Cor 14.26How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. ;
Efes 4.7But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. ;
1Pet 4.10-11As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. ;
8. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
1Cor 2.6-7Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: ;
1Cor 1.5That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; ;
1Cor 13.2And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. ;
2Cor 8.7Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also. ;
9. To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
Mat 17.19-20Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? ;
1Cor 13.2And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. ;
2Cor 4.13We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; ;
Marc 16.18They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. ;
Iac 5.14Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: ;
10. To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
1Cor 12.28-29And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. ;
Marc 16.17And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; ;
Gal 3.5He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? ;

1Cor 13.1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. ;
