1. And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
1Cor 1.17For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. ;
1Cor 2.4-13And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: ;
2Cor 10.10For his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible. ;
2Cor 11.6But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things. ;
1Cor 1.6Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: ;

1Cor 3.19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. ;
