1. O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
Gal 5.7
Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth? ;Gal 2.14
But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? ;Gal 5.7

2. This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? ;
3. Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Gal 4.9
But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? ;Evr 7.16
Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. ;Evr 9.10
Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. ;
4. Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
Evr 10.35-36
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. ;
5. He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
1Cor 3.8
Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. ;
6. Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
Gen 15.6
And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness. ;Rom 4.3-22
For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. ;Iac 2.23

7. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
Ioan 8.39

And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: ;
8. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
Rom 9.17
For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. ;Gal 3.22
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. ;Gen 12.3
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. ;Gen 18.18
Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? ;Gen 22.18
And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. ;Fapt 3.25
Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. ;
9. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
10. For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
Deut 27.26
Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen. ;Ier 11.3
And say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant, ;
