1. I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
1Tim 5.21
I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality. ;1Tim 6.13
I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; ;2Tim 2.14
Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. ;Fapt 10.42
And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. ;

2. Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
1Tim 5.20
Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. ;Tit 1.13
This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; ;Tit 2.15
These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. ;1Tim 4.13
Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. ;

3. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Tim 3.1
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. ;1Tim 1.10
For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; ;2Tim 3.6
For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ;

4. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
1Tim 1.4
Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. ;1Tim 4.7
But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. ;Tit 1.14
Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. ;

5. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
2Tim 1.8
Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; ;2Tim 2.3
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. ;Fapt 21.8
And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him. ;Efes 4.11
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; ;

6. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
Filip 2.17
Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all. ;Filip 1.23
For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: ;2Pet 1.14
Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me. ;

7. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
1Cor 9.24-25
Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. ;Filip 3.14
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. ;1Tim 6.12
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. ;Evr 12.1
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, ;

8. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
1Cor 9.25
And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. ;Iac 1.12
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. ;1Pet 5.4
And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. ;Apoc 2.10
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. ;2Tim 1.12
For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. ;

9. Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:

10. For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.
