1. But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
1Tim 1.10For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; ;
1Tim 6.3If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; ;
2Tim 1.13Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. ;
Tit 1.9Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. ;
2. That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
Tit 1.13This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; ;
3. The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
1Tim 2.9-10In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; ;
1Tim 3.11Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things. ;
1Pet 3.3-4Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; ;
4. That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
1Tim 5.14I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully. ;
5. To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
1Cor 14.34Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. ;
Efes 5.22Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. ;
Col 3.18Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. ;
1Tim 2.11Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. ;
1Pet 3.1-5Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; ;
Rom 2.24For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written. ;
1Tim 6.1Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed. ;
6. Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
7. In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
1Tim 4.12Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. ;
1Pet 5.3Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. ;
Efes 6.24Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen. ;
8. Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
1Tim 6.3If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; ;
Neem 5.9Also I said, It is not good that ye do: ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies? ;
1Tim 5.14I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully. ;
1Pet 2.12-15Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. ;
1Pet 3.16Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. ;
2Tes 3.14And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. ;
9. Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
Efes 6.5Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; ;
Col 3.22Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God; ;
1Tim 6.1-2Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed. ;
1Pet 2.18Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward. ;
Efes 5.24Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. ;
10. Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
Mat 5.16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. ;
Filip 2.15That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; ;
