1. Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

2. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

3. How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: ;Mat 4.17

4. God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands. ;Fapt 19.11
And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: ;Rom 15.18-19
For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed, ;1Cor 2.4
And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: ;Fapt 2.22-43
Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: ;1Cor 12.4-11
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. ;Efes 1.5-9
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, ;SMS

5. For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
Evr 6.5
And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, ;2Pet 3.13
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. ;SMS

6. But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest him?
Iov 7.17
What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him? ;Ps 8.4-etc
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? ;Ps 144.3
LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him! ;SMS

7. Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:

8. Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.
Mat 28.18

For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. ;Efes 1.22

9. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

10. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected. ;Evr 5.9
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; ;SMS
