1. O god, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.
Ex 15.17
Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O LORD, which thy hands have established. ;Ps 74.2
Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt. ;Ps 74.7
They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of thy name to the ground. ;2Imp 24.9
And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father had done. ;2Cron 36.19

2. The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.
Ier 7.33
And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away. ;Ier 16.4
They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth. ;Ier 34.20
I will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life: and their dead bodies shall be for meat unto the fowls of the heaven, and to the beasts of the earth. ;
3. Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.

5. How long, LORD? wilt thou be angry for ever? shall thy jealousy burn like fire?

Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations? ;Ps 89.46

6. Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy name.
Ier 10.25
Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate. ;Apoc 16.1

9. Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.
2Cron 14.11
And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let no man prevail against thee. ;Ier 14.7-21
O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, do thou it for thy name's sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee. ;
10. Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight by the revenging of the blood of thy servants which is shed.

As with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto me, Where is thy God? ;Ps 115.2
Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God? ;
