1. A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
Jud 8.1-3And the men of Ephraim said unto him, Why hast thou served us thus, that thou calledst us not, when thou wentest to fight with the Midianites? And they did chide with him sharply. ;

Isa 1.11To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. ;

SMS 9. The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.
Prov 21.21He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour. ;
1Tim 6.11But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. ;
SMS 10. Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.
