1. The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, and with the point of a diamond: it is graven upon the table of their heart, and upon the horns of your altars;
Iov 19.24
That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever! ;Prov 3.3
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: ;2Cor 3.3
Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. ;SMS

2. Whilst their children remember their altars and their groves by the green trees upon the high hills.
Jud 3.7
And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves. ;2Cron 24.18
And they left the house of the LORD God of their fathers, and served groves and idols: and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their trespass. ;2Cron 33.3-19
For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them. ;Isa 1.29

3. O my mountain in the field, I will give thy substance and all thy treasures to the spoil, and thy high places for sin, throughout all thy borders.
Ier 15.13
Thy substance and thy treasures will I give to the spoil without price, and that for all thy sins, even in all thy borders. ;SMS

4. And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for ever.
Ier 16.13
Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour. ;Ier 15.14
And I will make thee to pass with thine enemies into a land which thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in mine anger, which shall burn upon you. ;SMS

5. Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
Isa 30.1-2
Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: ;Isa 31.1
Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD! ;Isa 31.3
Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together. ;SMS

6. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
Ier 48.6
Flee, save your lives, and be like the heath in the wilderness. ;Iov 20.17
He shall not see the rivers, the floods, the brooks of honey and butter. ;Deut 29.23
And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath: ;SMS

7. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
Ps 2.12
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. ;Ps 34.8
O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. ;Ps 125.1
They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. ;Ps 146.5
Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: ;Prov 16.20
He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he. ;Isa 30.18
And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. ;SMS

8. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
Iov 8.16
He is green before the sun, and his branch shooteth forth in his garden. ;Ps 1.3
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. ;SMS

9. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

10. I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
1Sam 16.7
But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. ;1Cron 28.9
And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever. ;Ps 7.9
Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. ;Ps 139.23-24
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: ;Prov 17.3
The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but the LORD trieth the hearts. ;Ier 11.20
But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause. ;Ier 20.12
