1. Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Filip 3.12-14
Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. ;Evr 5.12
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. ;Evr 9.14
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? ;

2. Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
Fapt 19.4-5
Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. ;Fapt 8.14-17
Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: ;Fapt 19.6

And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee. ;Rom 2.16
In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. ;

3. And this will we do, if God permit.
Fapt 18.21
But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus. ;1Cor 4.19
But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power. ;

4. For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
Mat 12.31-32
Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. ;Evr 10.26
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, ;2Pet 2.20-21
For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. ;1Ioan 5.16
If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. ;Evr 10.32
But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions; ;Ioan 4.10
Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. ;Ioan 6.32
Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. ;Efes 2.8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: ;

5. And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
Gal 3.2-5
This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? ;Evr 2.4
God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? ;

6. If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Evr 2.5
For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. ;Evr 10.29
Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? ;

7. For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
Ps 65.10
Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof. ;

8. But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
Isa 5.6
And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it. ;

9. But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.

10. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
Prov 14.31
He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor. ;Mat 10.42
And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. ;Mat 25.40
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. ;Ioan 13.20
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. ;Rom 3.4
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. ;2Tes 1.6-7
Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; ;1Tes 1.3
Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; ;Rom 15.25
But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints. ;2Cor 8.4
Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. ;2Cor 9.1-12
For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you: ;2Tim 1.18
The Lord grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well. ;
