1. That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
Ioan 1.1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ;1Ioan 2.13
I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father. ;Ioan 1.14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. ;2Pet 1.16

2. (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

3. That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. ;1Cor 1.9

5. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
1Ioan 3.11
For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. ;Ioan 1.9
That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. ;Ioan 8.12
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. ;Ioan 9.5

6. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
2Cor 6.14
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? ;1Ioan 2.4
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. ;SMS
7. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1Cor 6.11
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. ;Efes 1.7
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; ;Evr 9.14
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? ;1Pet 1.19
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: ;1Ioan 2.2
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for our's only, but also for the sins of the whole world. ;Apoc 1.5
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, ;SMS
8. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1Imp 8.46
If they sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near; ;2Cron 6.36
If they sin against thee, (for there is no man which sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them over before their enemies, and they carry them away captives unto a land far off or near; ;Iov 9.2
I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with God? ;Iov 15.14
What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous? ;Iov 25.4
How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman? ;Prov 20.9
Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin? ;Ecl 7.20

He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. ;SMS
9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Ps 32.5
I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. ;Prov 28.13
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. ;Ps 5.2
Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. ;1Ioan 1.7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. ;SMS
10. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
